Classical and fusional indian dance
Indian dances are based on a South Indian classical style, the Tamil Bharatanatyam. It is the most ancient of the Indian dance styles because it evolved from the tribal dance of the Tamil people. On the one hand, from the communal drama of the South Indian people, and on the other hand from the temple dance for the gods, which dates back to the XII-XIII., lived its heyday in the 19th century. The technique of bharatanatyam consists of two parts: pure dance and abhinaya. Pure dance is based on complex step combinations and foot technique following virtuoso rhythm formulas. The steps are created by the harmony of the movements of the eyes, head, arms, hands and feet. The important elements of abhinaya are: facial play, acting and the symbolic system of hand gestures (mudras), which carry specific meanings in the dance, so they are also suitable for storytelling.
In addition, the movement system of Trigatu is created by combining elements of other different forms of movement and dance - Indian classical and folk (Rajasthan, Ghoomar, Odissi, Kathak), belly dance, martial arts (kalaripayattu, mayurban chau), hip-hop and contemporary dance.
Indian bollywood fusional dance
A fusion dance form familiar from the dance clips of Indian films. A feminine, energetic show dance made from the mix of Indian classical (kathak, bharata natyam, odissi), belly dance, folk (Rajasthani, Ghoomar) dance forms on Indian melodical modern dance music. Ghoomar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan. The worship of Goddess Saraswati was first performed by the Bhil tribe, which was later embraced by other communities in Rajasthan. The dance is mainly performed by veiled women who dance with a whirling movement, which is also the meaning of the word ghoomar. Kathak is one of the eight major forms of Indian classical dance. The focus of the dance is the movement of the eyes and feet. It is characterized by a lot of rotation and flamenco-like arm and wrist movements.
Hip-hop dance evolved from street dances, so it is one of the most instinctive, self-explanatory forms of movement, in which individuality and everyone’s own style can be found. In the class we intensively exercise our body and brain function. In addition to practicing the simple basic steps, we also learn choreography based on them, which we expand with spatial settings over time.
Pilates and cardio training: Pilates tones the entire body's muscles, including the body's internal muscles in its "power center". With Pilates exercises, we will be able to isolate and control the muscles of the power center, with the training of which excellent posture and balance skills can be achieved. Cardio training has a positive effect on the heart, circulation and vitality, lowers blood pressure, strengthens muscles and the nervous system, in addition to helping burn fat and lose excess weight.
Yoga: The exercises are based on the techniques of spine, couple, flow and hatha yoga. Poses - yoga asanas - to pleasant music, tied in a garland. The goal is to achieve the correct posture, to counterbalance the many daily sittings, with individualized attention, focusing on separate body parts. Imaginative, picture-guided relaxation, helps to calm down and regain our attention and energy to approach the world and problems positively, helps to achieve objectivity and conscious action.
